Not even worth 1 star but stupidly can't post without one. Complete joke and waste of time. Our baby girl died through a catestrophic chain of failings, all clearly documented in a 25 page investigation report from Royal Cornwall Hospital, on submitting our "official complaint" to PALS all we've received is what I can only describe is a list of excuses and blatent lies to our complaints, even the manner in which it is written is insulting to us as grieving parents. Outraged. Shut down and stop wasting tax payers money.

As usual , these organizations purport to offer a resolve for the public who have issues in this case with Derriford hospital. As i have found out , yet again you will be simply wasting your time and energy, there is no support for your issues, the only regret is by using this useless service i have given the uninterested staff in the pals office a job. DONT USE THEM AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL CLOSE DOWN AND SAVE THE TAX PAYERS MONEY FROM BEING WASTED NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR

There appears to be a problem with PALS at Derriford Hospital. Is it that they do not have any/many staff? I contacted them in person last year, in tears, and all details were entered onto computer. However 2 months later, after not hearing anything at all, I contacted them by phone to be told that they could not find either my name nor any details. Apology given and possible reason given was that the person I spoke with had left! Recent calls to them appear to be giving the same result - no return calls! So - PALS appears not to work as it claims to do....... Would choose not to give any stars at all - but am forced to give at least one otherwise you cannot post!

Am disgusted with response of pals and how slow they have reacted to my questions always seem to be about to phone you but you seem to always contact them 10 phone calls over 2 months spoke to Sharon Zoe Nicole & Gill asking for assistance understanding how things happened and why I was being told to go home the day after procedure when I was told I could be in for up to a week I had been sick and in pain not slept also previous day had procedure 8 clock in morning went to recovery back to ward then taken back to recovery then back up to ward think I got back to ward about 5 clock told no problem released from hospital without pain killers discharge letter arrived 4 days later advising pain killers,Dr Awan advised pals he discharged me 2 days after procedure and pals sent me a letter to that effect without questioning as I had stated from the start it was the day after was I being listen to I did not feel they had helped or listened but allowed the issues and trying to resolve to drag on as Dr Awan said no problems that seemed to be good enough for them I had been offered to see Dr Awan but without any accurate information from pals probably to tell no problems all ok,have used pals Truro and left msg of praise and thanks so am not wanting to make official complaint but am know being forced into by pals Derriford added 01/05/18 due to poor health have given up with this complaint even after patient complaint service got involved and with all the changes in the doctors statements of dates and facts they still had no problems who are they helping !!?

Tried to make a complaint having initially contacted PALS. The complaints department referred me back to PALS. First contacted PALS February 26-we are getting nowhere
