A very hot day but enjoyable. Due to the heat no thought had been given to shade areas for the animals let alone the people. I only managed two hours before I had to leave. Like so many agriculture shows these days it is very commercial. Not many arts or crafts or chain saw, tree felling completions. That said lovely well cared for livestock and a good show by the horse brigade. Plenty of toilets and parking however it took thirty minutes of queuing in boiling hot weather to get in (thank goodness for air con!). All the volunteers from the Rotary were amazing and so cheerful. All in all a good day just cut short by the heat.

25% increase on admission this year and stalls selling the same old tat year in, year out! Same animal and display stands yet again. Best item was the jousting. Once every five years is plenty enough!

The traffic was so bad with a 85 minute to try and drive to the show, we just turned around and drove home, the show has lost 4 adults, which would have cost us 12.50 each, which is very expensive for a 1 day small local show.

Always a good day out, whatever the weather, something as a family that we always look forward to. Plenty of activities, brilliant show ground loads of stalls and displays, definitely one of the best local Devon shows.
