Really lovely wood. Walks that are open are well signposted. Gravel paths are mostly flat and make walking easier. Just a few places where it's harder going in muddy conditions. Good parking facilities. Can pay cash or by Ringo. Very enjoyable places to walk all year round.

The perfect place to go for a walk with the family or a just a casual dog walk. Its quite easy to get lost as we were not familiar with the area but enjoyed it nonetheless - it would be nice to see more sign posts! You get a real feel for nature here, its very peaceful and great way to spend a couple of hours.

Great place to go for a woodland walk and some air. Parents, if you're bringing children just be mindful that not all dog walkers seem to be picking up after their dogs at the moment.
