My husband and I took my mother for a 78th birthday day retreat at Polhilsa House Retreat and it certainly exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Mum has been so relaxed since. Hubbie has a great sense of humour and I’m, well, just chilled. Debbi gave us nut and seed cake straight out of the oven on arrival with a cuppa! We all were shown how to fork ourselves for over two hours then had soup, jacket potatoe and salad and more tea. We each went off for a further treatment in the afternoon and were all blissed out. I can not recommend this enough and can’t wait to return for some more scrumptiousness. The house is beautiful and is very welcoming in a beautiful surrounding. Three little websites live here and are adorable even giving healing helping their mummie. So cute. I can’t give enough praise here. Helen Horsham
