Decent train station with a ticket machine. Car park with CCTV covering every inch of it. I have heard of vandalism to cars when people park on the overflow road though so it would be nice to have CCTV covering the road too.

Its a train station, its probably one of the very best places to catch a train. Does have automated announcements and updated arrivel / departure board. Not very much weather shelter, zero facilitys no food, drink, toilet, not even a ticketing machine. Open air train station. Good free car parking but often full.
No disabled access and no ticket machine, which means that on busy days you have to queue at Leeds to buy a ticket merely for the privilege of being able to exit the station. Northern Rail should be ashamed of the customer experience they offer here.
Small well presented station. Sadly no good for wheel-chairs. Not a station to be alone at night. Useful for castle and town center.
Regular trains to Leeds and a few trains to London. Free car park which is covered by CCTV. No disabled access to the far platform though
