Booked a harbour view table at lunchtime to celebrate my birthday. Wasn't disappointed! Great food, attentive and polite service and a plate of complimentary chocolate brownies was a nice touch. 12 1/2 % service charge added to my bill, I prefer to tip the staff that served me to be honest to show my appreciation.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Rick Stein's Sandbanks restaurant. We shared the olives and sourdough to start, followed by the grilled hake with chive mash. So tasty! Highly recommend asking for a sea view table when you book.

Superb evening with my best friend, the food was amazing, the curry was my favourite and when I enquired Simon one of the waiters kindly told me all about it and how its made which was soo kind. Amazing service all night. Oh and couldn't decide on dessert so we ended up having 3 again all amazing Can't wait to return

Very nice restaurant, great atmosphere and excellent service but the food is quite underwhelming. The same as the Barnes restaurant. The food is nice but it's just not impressive, especially for the price. It seems overrated. The fish & chips were just what you'd expect from any fish & chip shop. The Indonesian curry was tasty but was mostly sauce with a couple of small pieces of fish and prawns. The pineapple juice wasn't fresh. For some reason I always have the expectation that Stein's is going to be special, haute cuisine, exceptional. But it is very disappointing. It compares to a middle range high street chain restaurant like Côte or Café Rouge but three times the price.

Rick Stein Sandbanks is situated perfectly virtually next to the yacht club. As you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with beautiful decor, friendly and efficient front of house and an airy, and well placed dining area. The wait staff were very friendly and the food.... Oh my goodness!! You know that given the name it's going to be good, but this was honestly fantastic!! The good wife claimed this was the best eggs benedict she had ever had. I went for the full English which was every bit of a 10/10 Cannot recommend enough
