We are so lucky to have a gate leading directly into this beautiful park from our back garden. We have spent 40 years now coming here as a young couple in love, then as parents and now every day to walk our dog together. The park is lovely to bring a picnic to enjoy it’s free so it’s a wonderful healthy day out. Children love this place it’s very and interesting for all age groups. It’s also peaceful to sit and chatter. Many events are held here too. Many specimen trees to admire with lots of varied wildlife. We can’t think of anywhere better to be than this park. Especially because it’s free for everyone to enjoy. If you bring a car there’s a low parking cost. But that cash helps towards maintaining the car park, toilets etc. I find that very fair indeed.

Covid signs good. Shame folks don't keep left. A lovely place to visit but has lost its natural feel with the new gravel paths

We had a lovely walk around Upton Country Park. We only spent an hour so we didn't get to see to much especially as we got distracted in the play park by the swing. The car park is pay and display, plenty of spaces. The tea room is open for takeaway, it's one in, one out but the queue was moving very slowly so we didn't manage to get a hot drink.

Upton Country Park has a lovely play area but also lots of grounds to explore with the little ones. I live taking my boys there, some days to just go to play area and others to take a walk to \have an adventure\. The tea rooms are lovely as well, not fully ope at the moment but do do takeaway drinks.
