Visited on Friday for a quiet pint and ended up having food. Staff were very polite and quickly found us a table. Food was reasonably priced and very good!

Well. First time I went in for food and was not disappointed the portions are huge and a great value for money gorgous quality
The food was outstanding, but you really need to work on your initial welcome when guests arrive and are being shown to the table. We gave the booking name and time of booking when we arrived, and were shown straight to the table. We were then approached whilst seated and told that we had booked for four not three, then a while later told it was two we had booked for. Then whilst eating our meal we were told that we had arrived for our meal too early . The whole experience was very uncomfortable, and we left as soon as we finished eating. At no point during the phone call to book the meal was I told we could not arrive early, and you were given the booking name and time of booking on our arrival it's not difficult to work out which customer you are serving even if you have three tables booked with the same surname. Poor show guys.
luvly lunch and dessert
Just had a 12oz rump with pepper sauce and trimmings. Absolutely delicious. Sauce and chips best I've had in a long time. Steak was well cooked and melted in the mouth. Would definitely eat here again.
