Stumbled on this whilst looking for a good vantage point. Not exactly something to go out your way for but it is impressive to see how it's become part of the hill it's built on. And there are some cracking views from up there. The moat is pretty big, looks far more sizeable in person than photos can do it justice.
Wandered up here one day when i had nothing to do and tried the front door, it was securely locked so 5 stars from me!
Visited when it was an immigration deportation centre didnt like the staff people wasnt treated nice in there nobody should be held in them places
just spent a two stretch here would recommend, may visit again. food was okay, bed was a bit hard could have done with a bit more cushioning. Staff were nice n corrupt. They sorted me right out.
