I had damp treated in 3 rooms and also some extra maintenance work (removal of a cupboard and fireplace surround removed and blocked up) and plastering a whole room. From the initial visit to quote, to the guys coming back promptly once the work was finished to sort a small issue with my plug sockets, I found everyone extremely professional and friendly. The ladies in the office responded promptly to my email queries, Matt was knowledgeable and helpful when he first inspected my house and the guys working here were respectful of my property, kept me informed and left it as clean as you can expect when your plaster has been knocked off! The finished result was excellent. Also, everything happened when they said it would, no delays, no extensions - very well planned. This was my first experience of having damp work done and I wasn't looking forward to it but I'd trust D Gates completely with any future work. Thank you!

We requested a visit to inspect what we thought might be a problem in our Loft space. Matt, dully arrived, and after donning his Covid mask inspected our 'problem. The problem was in fact a problem with us being a little cautious about what might be happening in a part of the house not very often visited, our Loft. The result was, we didn't need any treatment and told that the survey was part of their 'free' inspection service. What a refreshing company to deal with. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

A very professional service. We live in a very old house that had a few damp issues. These did not give up until the problem was solved. Their customer service is great. The guys that came out to do the work were on time, efficient and very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
