I visited Guess at Gun Wharf Quays today at 4pm. No one was checking how many people were coming into the shop. There is a small sign on the front window advising a maximum of 13 customers, I counted and saw there were less so entered with my son. 5 minutes later I looked around the shop and there was about 20 or more in the shop. 3 women were folding items of clothing, 1 man serving a customer that took 15 minutes. 2 tills not being used. Then the customer realised that the man hadn't put all items in her bags or charged her. Another 5 minutes went by. It was warm and wearing a face mask was unpleasant. I was just about to vent my frustration in a polite way, but the woman apologised for the wait. I have not waited SO LONG to be served in a shop ever. Who and where is the manager????? Nice staff, but not a clue about managing a shop during Covid19 and very SLOW till service. I will not be returning to your store. However all the service was excellent in all the other shops in GWQ. Sort yourselves out. Your service is sloppy. Train your staff. People do not want to spend a long time in any shop where there is a risk of catching Covid19.
