Tried to rip me off for a record player repair job having established nothing specif about the fault during the inspection whatsoever. I was literally given the information I already knew and charged 40 which I refused to pay!

Fixed & refurbed my Sony TTS-8000 turntable. You will need to be patient,but completely happy with result. A great turntable has been restored. Cheers
Pioneer CD recorder (not player) behaving temporamentally - flashing up false displays - CHECK DISC - REPAIR - making recordings but not completing them. Playing back okay. Had a feeling the laser was the issue but (as the owner told me) could be many causes - a complicated machine. Shop agreed to clean the laser but could not guarantee repair which I totally understood. Machine was ready in a couple of days. Works BEAUTIFULLY - better than ever. A delicate job superbly done. Saved me a fortune as I need a cd recorder and they are now rare. Highly recommend this business.
What a lovely gentleman and shop owner. Popped in for an RCA and ended up leaving with a GL75 Goldring player. Chris is very knowledgeable and helpful,i will be returning without a doubt. Cheers again
