With there being very few places around teaching European Portuguese, I was delighted to find Maria. I have been learning with Maria for a couple of years now and I thoroughly enjoy our classes. As well as learning the words, structures ect, Maria is very good at teaching the pronunciation which is so hard especially when learning as an adult! I highly recommend Maria if you are looking to learn European Portuguese in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Maria is by far the best Portuguese teacher I have ever had. Her lessons are expertly planned to my individual needs which has allowed me to cement my existing knowledge as well as make progress. As a Portuguese immigrant living in England, I wanted my young daughter to be able to read and speak both English and Portuguese. I enrolled My daughter in these lessons just over a year ago, and what a difference it has made! The lessons have made a huge difference and my daughter can now speak it much more fluently than ever before, and is now even starting to read books that are in Portuguese. I am very pleased with the progress so far and I highly recommend her lessons.
