Very disappointed with the reopening of the leisure centre. After arriving at the gym we were greeted with a huge queue due to the systems being incredibly slow. After paying, we were left to find out for ourselves that the pool was closed down to one lane for ten people, with the rest of the pool left empty. The life guards then started to kick out the slowest of the swimmers before the session was half way through due to two swimmers trying to over take all the others. On the website there are strict rules of no overtaking but it was the slower swimmers who were kicked out. No where on the website does it state that you need to go as fast as you can and that everyone needs to keep up with the fastest swimmer! Let alone the fact that they squeezed us all into one lane. the staff were incredibly rude demanding the slower swimmers to "leave now" when asking why we need to leave, we were told that we were all keeping up the two fast swimmers. This is a huge disappointment due to the excitement of the pool reopening. Maybe if you can't stick to your own rules it would be best to stay closed until this virus has all blown over. It's terrible to advertise one service online, pay for that service and then be rudely told to "leave now" with the horrible attitude one of the staff members had. Hopefully they will clean up their act, but until then I would suggest giving it a miss unless you're the fastest swimmer in your class.

A fun place for children! soft play area a bit small but the children loves it. !
This relatively new leisure centre has some wonderful facilities like a super, multi-level soft play, big swimming pool, teaching pool, fun pool, cafe, big indoor sports hall and astro turf outdoor pitches. However, due to the pandemic, it is very difficult to find out when things are on, when the centre is open and how to book slots for socially distanced activities. I've tried calling several times but have never got through to a person. When I called in in person, the staff were struggling to adapt to a new, not fully functional, booking system and explained that family swim sessions need to be booked seven days in advance as they are so popular and there is little capacity. It's frustrating when you want to help your little one be water confident and enjoy some swimming exercise!
Very clean pool! I also like how light it is inside the pool because of the big windows all around! There are lots of changing rooms as well which is nice!
Significantly improved over the last couple of years, cleaner, more consistent and with a better cafe. It's a really nice place now and we often go there with the kids for fun swims.
Lovely reception staff. Questionable management. Very disappointing approach conducted by management towards low paid staff.

I made online booking for family swimming session using an app and I came with my husband and two daughters. They told me that we cannot enter because bokking is for one person only and that I should have called to make a booking for the rest of the family. we decided to wait for 2 hours for a session that we could go to because my child really wanted to swim and she was very sad that we could not enter earlier. when we finally could enter, we found the water was so cold! what a horrible place i will never go back there again!
