This is not a park as such but a large grassed field with a number of trees here and there. It is popular with dog walkers.
At Walker Park yesterday evening and again this morning, it's a shame they have mown over the large half circle of long grass at the top of the field, the sign they had posted there said they were leaving the grass long. I assumed this was for the butterflies and bees. We are still in the middle of summer shouldn't it have been left until the end of September.
Great for walking dogs. Litter bins at the entrances for disposing of dog bags .
