Just stopped at Evans Fish and Chips. I was greeted by two very friendly servers, who took my order and made it perfectly.. Some places don't do gravy... Some places put gravy, salt and then vinegar..this place does it right..vinegar salt and then gravy.. And what a taste the food has..!! The building is clean and tidy, good selection of drinks available and reasonably priced.. I can't see how they're going to improve from here, so a thoroughly deserved 5stars..

Bought 2 x fish and chips good quantity of chips but for me couldn’t eat them they were hard not cooked properly. I was disappointed it was recommended as best place for fish and chips.

Enjoyed the fish and chips from here. Very tasty, all nice and fresh. Curry sauce was alittle thin but still tasted nice.

I was exhausted after a long bike ride & popped in for some fish & chips. Honestly these where the best I have had in years. Excellent portion size more than generous. Very friendly staff & delicious food. I will be back soon.

Waited 20 minutes slow service and didn't get what I orderd for. Got charged full priced for fish and peas . And didn't get any peas, got no peas with pudding chips and gravy. The fish wasn't bad but was a small size and I was charged regular.
