Don't be put off by some of the bad reviews on here. We were surprised how nice it was after listening to some of the reviews. It's rustic, the toilets aren't perfect, the entrance way makes it seem shabby. But, there is loads of space to pitch, the ground is almost completly flat and easy to oeg. Theres some great pitches round the lake, loads in sight of the play area and even some more secluded near the forest. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even quieted our rowdy neighbours at 1am. They let you have fires as long as they're off the ground. The place is huge with a mini forest you can roam around in. All in all, a great family friendly site. No major amenities but it's camping not a haven park.

What can I say? I hope ur granddaughter enjoyed her birthday as much as we did our weekend. I recommend this place, nice and tidy, great overall conditions special in toilets and shower room. Friendly staff. Peaceful area, cheaper and good accommodation. Looking forward to be there again. All the best for you and your family we shall meet again. Thank you for all. Nothing as described on website worst camp ive ever been to was overpriced at 25 per night for 4 adults camping in our own tent! I looked at reviews and thought ah well its only a few nights we left after the first night and most certaintly wont be returning.... staff couldnt care less about custom such a shame the camp has so much potnetial...
The owner is friendly and helpful, it is a good place for people with teenagers who will want to party late into the night. For me personally it was the wrong choice my wife and I are older and prefer a more quiet peaceful camping experience.
Love this place, nice and peaceful during the week, and nice to see people enjoying their weekend break too.
Chilled place lovely pond well stocked needs more amenities like a little shop and fishing baits nice little camp site only give a two star
Absolutely the best camping experience by far, really friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant family atmosphere great play area. The showers were lovely and clean and hot water. Would recommend to anyone.
Stayed here one night in August just to check out some new equipment. Site is easy to find and couldn't of been made more welcome by Geordy who runs the site. Ground was well kept and nice and flat. We were able to pitch right by the lake which was lovely as able to look at the ducks & the anglers (even though I got bitten to death by the mozzies)! Facilities were very well kept although had to get hot water from the showers to wash up but not a problem. Geordy was full of information about the area & had time for everyone, special thanks to Sarah who was so helpful too. Bigger field was a bit noisier than where we were at the back of the lake but everyone was having a good time and were so friendly! Great little play area if you have kids too. Would definately come back!
