This is about as nice as jails get, no bang up, the foods better than other jails iv been to, no violence, lots of jobs to chose from and even the screws are alright in here. Best time to visit is during the summer when its warm

Lovely location. Very easy to get into, meaning as it's a catD prison, there's no body searches or having to show ID to every single member of staff. Not had any problems with staff so can't comment. Cafe serves a variety of different foods compared to other prisons and the atmosphere is nice and calm which is better with young children. There's a big play area also for little ones to escape to inside the visitation room.
Decided to stay a few nights but staff wouldn’t let me out so had to stay 3 years. Room service is abysmal and beds extremely uncomfortable
The staff here are lazy,rude,arrogant, ignorant and offensive. Prisoners are made to feel intimidated with regular threats of being returned to closed conditions for no apparent reason. Employment opportunities are mediocre and resettlement practically non existant as omu don't do what they say.
Can anyone tell me if my 1year old son will get searched going into here to see my brother in law?
