Janet gave some really good advice and tips as to how to stop our dog pulling on the lead. A work in progress, but the suggestion of the correct harness, long lead and walking style has really made a difference. I feel much more confident now. I also feel i can message or email with any issues too and Janet quickly responds. Definitely recommend Janet.

Due to Covid I was only able to have a telephone consultation with Janet, but what a difference it has made to my confidence in dealing with my rescue collie’s reactivity to almost everything. Prior to contacting Janet, I really felt a sense of despair with my ability to calm our lovely but very reactive dog. I had so much information from so many different sources but really felt that I was floundering in the dark. I didn’t know where to start. The history form that Janet sent to me to fill in before our call was very detailed and thorough. She also suggested sending videos if appropriate but I didn’t have any and as my dog’s issue is barking and lunging at every dog he saw, and some people, video footage wasn’t easy to obtain. You may be able to for other scenarios. I wrote a list of questions to ask during the consultation which were almost all answered by Janet before I needed to even ask, during the course of our discussion. Janet is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced and has a lovely calm manner. I didn’t feel rushed in any way during our call. I have been putting her advice into practice and can genuinely see things starting to change for us and our dog in just a few days, even though I know we will need to persevere for a while in order to change his emotional responses completely. We now have the confidence to believe in what we are doing and why. I would highly recommend Janet if you are struggling with any behavioural issues with your dog.

Hands down best money I’ve ever spent! Within a week my two extremely excitable & noisy Jack russells. My friends have commented on how good they’ve been, even those who didn’t know we were trying some new techniques. This morning I hoovered with the dogs inside, with no barking or attacking the hoover for the first time in 8 years. A few “lessons” needed as per Janet’s technique but they are 100% responding to it & the barking is never an escalating disaster like it was. In just a few days the dogs have calmed down more than I ever imagined, can’t thank Janet enough & I would recommend her to anyone who’s ever thought about looking for a behaviour expert.

Janet was amazing. She was very helpful on the phone before the appointment which really helped me feel at ease. The appointment was a success. She was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She really showed us what we need to do going forward and has been more than happy to help in followup questions. After she left our dog was very well behaved. He didn't go on the sofa til asked, no issues. He was a different dog! I would highly recommend Janet. I'd say the help you get is invaluable and she's wonderful with your animals.
