Kind, caring, loving & so supportive!!! My late husband was at Priscilla Bacon Lodge for the last week of his life. Nothing , nothing at all was too much trouble , not only for my husband, but to the entire family. Our Grandchildren were so supported. An amazing team - all of them. As hard as this was for us, we could not have wished for more.

What fantastic care given by the nurses, the Health care assistants and ths volunteers. So friendly and helpful. My father was here for several weeks and I suprised how radically different it was here to N&N. He had two lovely meals a day plus breakfast, snacks and as many hot drinks as he wanted! Oh and the alcoholic tipple he had daily! There were always hot drinks, cold drinks and biscuits in the coffee bar for guests visiting and a childrens play area which was fab as at times you have to bring kids along. There was a wendy house and a work bench...really suprised how much thought had gone into it with the angled mirrors so you could keep an eye on them. Overall amazing and a great feeling of warmth from the staff when you were there. Never worried about my father being there without any of us. Note: Visiting is discouraged between 12-3 as this is the time they like the patients to rest and have a nap but if you do come you wont be turned away.
