Its a small place but the visit provides a remarkable trip back in history. I enjoyed the personal stories told of inmates past, all set in the very atmospheric old building and its contents. Highly recommended if you are interested in social history.

It's a small museum but jam packed full of really interesting information and insights into policing and life on the wrong side of the law. Well worth a visit if you're at all interested in social history or the history of policing.

It's only small but very informative, very safe social distance wise booking system in place at the moment, once you pay your ticket is valid for a year allowing return visits and as some displays change well worth a return visit later in the year, Girl on the desk very friendly and helpful
