Lovely meal dispite being on a carb free diet. Really enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, the food was pretty terrible and overpriced - based on what we ordered I'd give it 2 stars. But the bar / pub itself is fairly nice, if you like huge screens everywhere (showing football when we were there). The Village Hotel app had some great offers - eg 3.25 for a pint, or 4.25 for a pint and a half (in a massive pint-and-a-half glass, which I'd not seen before). Overall, decent for a drink watching football / TV, but not to eat.
Good place for a catch up with friends, no fancy frills. If you're a gym member of the village let the bar staff know
Judging by the number of customers enjoying the Friday night (21st Feb) it's clearly a popular place. It's lively and loud so not a \quiet relaxing drink and bite\ place. The beer I had was 5.50 a pint so fairly top end price wise, however the food was comparatively cheap. Unfortunately the chicken wrap I chose was bland and not something I would recommend. Steaks and Pizzas also on the menu which may be a better option.
