Edlesborough
N/A
The yellow Public use Defibrillator mounted on the side wall at the entrance end of Edlesbourgh Memorial Hall, parallel to Pebblemoor road. It's now becoming common practice to mount these devices in rural villages to their village hall, so should be the first place to look for one if needed. It is next to the village green which is more of a sports field, so a potential heart attack arena. The instructions on the device cabinet are probably the best I've seen so far, by using proper written words rather than a series of pictograms. It doesn't get a five star rating because the rather pale yellow cabinet doesn't show up to well against the cream coloured wall it's mounted on. There should also be a larger attention grabber sign mounted on the front of the Hall, so people on the blind church side of the hall can see a defibrillator is available at this building. There is also no notice of device ownership to report a problem or any damage etc, as can be seen on other devices I've recorded. Parish Council please take note.
