Very, very good. I had sushi, my friend had the tofu steak rice bowl which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Felt very authentic and homemade... which is how it should be. The wasabi and ginger were lovely and i like that they were included as a given. I mean... What are you doing eating sushi without them

I often order takeaway from Taya, both the Oriental and Sushi are of really good quality and authentic from an Asian perspective!! Hope the community can support good take aways like Taya, especially during these quarantine times.

Ordered a family dinner via Ubereats at around 6.30pm. Ordered a selection of different Chinese food totalling 85 with delivery (quite expensive for a takeaway restaurant but the only place open at the time of ordering). Waited and waited. On the app we were told the food will arrive by 8pm at the latest. It didn’t come. The app advised that we call the restaurant. When i called the restaurant, I encountered the rudest person i have ever come across!! He said that the food will be leaving soon, they were very busy and then hung up the phone!! I called back and he hung up again. My brother called back 20 minutes later (still no food) and he told him that the food has left and that we should never order from there ever again. It was a very upsetting encounter. When the food eventually came around 9pm, we were starving!! Only to find that all the food was cold and we had to spend 15 minutes reheating everything. My mum and dad were really upset too! 85 pounds down the drain!! We will never order from here again! They didn’t even give us any apology!

I'm surprised at all the bad reviews, I wonder whether they've recently got a new chef?! We've been looking for a good Chinese all over the area and were really impressed with Taya. We ordered online, got 15% discount for collection and the food was ready in good time. The duck was tasty, Singapore noodles best I've had (dry and full of flavour), also too the Chinese Curry which was the best I've found. Chicken was good quality, not watery or chewy, and the Broccoli, Ginger and Prawn dish was lovely too. We'll definitely be going back. Give it a try, don't let the bad reviews put you off!
