Same with others on various reviews. I purchased refund insurance and with 19 months notice and 900 paid. they refused a refund with no meaningful dialogue or concession offered. They forced me to accept a voucher and re-book another event that I did not want. They did not give a damn and are void of empathy for their customers. Not only that, they continued to take payments despite written assurance that they had cancelled my entry (which they have no doubt sold) I'm 800 out of pocket for the event (with useless refund insurance and a voucher I don't want, to spend with a company I can't trust) and another 400 out of pocket with unauthorised payments being taken from my bank account. If you book with this outfit, pray your circumstances don't change and prepare to be cast aside once they have your money. Because it is, in my experience ALL about the money. No phone number that is useful. Just a message to email and a hang-up. Then patchy email responses with programmed answers but typed by actual humans. 1200 later and just a middle finger to show for it. Rarely will you see such glee in citing policy. They will no doubt reply to this email citing "other companies" deal with (our) refunds. Brushing away responsibility. The biggest grind of all is that I'm left with a voucher and I HAVE to attend one of their events at some point which makes me wanna puke. Still, I'm sure they'd be happy If I didn't and just let the voucher run out and trouser the cash. I have recovered the 2 unauthorised payments through my bank. I doubt they will be cooperative when faced with the reality of it and the bank seek corroboration. Just a simple email to acknowledge what was probably a genuine mistake would have stopped my writing this. The pride they took in their certainty and lack of empathy was breathtaking. The incompetence in the aftermath of it was probably to be expected.

After doing various rat race events since 2016, I truly can't get over how each year they just get better and better. After dealing with them on so many platforms, from ordering clothes, to signing up to events and then altering entry's. Their customer service has been absolutely faultless across the board. I attended dirty weekend 19 this weekend and it's great to see a company that just strive to better themselves and the customers experience every year. Whereas some of the other bigger players like Tough Mudder just seem to dull down every year. Even their social media is one of the best I've ever seen and it inspires me to push my own businesses social media more and model it with Rat Races. The videos leading up to the event were great because we even had a chat with the 'glamping God' about his efforts to get up the wall and it was great to see the girl who hosted those videos out and about constantly making sure everyone was happy and having a great time. I'm proud to have a season pass and I think moving forward I'll have one each year

Looked online for a shop selling running shoes, found one in York, seen the 360 view of the inside of the store, went there, saw the sign on the door: Online only. I can't find the words to describe this experience. Why can't you just let everyone know online, that this is just online only. Doesn't make any sense.
