Part exchanged my Honda civic for a 4x4 from here, three weeks ago. On first drive, minutes after delivery the brakes felt spongy and then swiftly failed completely. Brake fluid pouring from rear passenger side drum. They picked it up and brought a courtesy card a few days later, at this point I raised some more issues I had noted with broken door seal and poorly fitted rear bumper. I advised them I would be paying for a full AA 4x4 check before I would consider picking it up. The AA report stated brakes still not properly repaired (handbrake still high, adjuster bracket broken), front passenger side door not sitting in the frame correctly, front passenger side seal (vertical between doors) missing, rear bumper not fitted properly, poor paintwork scratches and chips that I hadn't previously noted), drivers side front suspension Lower arm badly corroded and delamination. As it was clear they were incapable of putting right their delivery of what was a dangerously unroadworthy car, I rejected the car. I drove their courtesy car back (approx 160 miles). I was concerned to see the car back on the forecourt, seemingly for sale again so quickly after the AA report, although they haven't seen the report as they haven't asked for it. I received a refund within a couple of hours. The refund is the only thing they got right.

Cars are very squashed up in the garage and forecourt. Hard to find a parking space. Staff friendly and helpful. We were allowed to take our choice of car out for a good test drive to Kendal. Pleased with our car purchase.
