I've trained with Phil for a Tough Muddle Style race and for the Reading Half Marathon in group sessions. The training sessions were always varied and most importantly enjoyable. I couldn't recommend Phil highly enough as a PT if you want to get results instead of just plodding along without improving. Looking forward to the next challenge !

As a keen runner I’ve recently got into marathons and ultra marathons, however I quickly realised that to cover these long distances I would need to include strength work into my training something I find difficult to get motivated to do. Not only has Phil transformed my running he’s also made every strength session really enjoyable to the point that I look forward to it every week! Really motivating and very knowledgeable in his field!
I recently booked 10 sessions with Phil from which I derived tremendous benefits. I worked on my technique, introduced to the ideas around going barefoot and the importance of stretching and looking after your self. Phil is very personable and there to answer any questions at all times. As well as help and encouragement in formulating goals and achieving them.
Phil makes all sessions whether group or private relevant, interesting, challenging but also great fun! He has an in depth knowledge of how the body works making sure you carry out exercises correctly to reduce the risk of injury.
I really enjoy training with Phil, he takes time to understand your fitness goals and then he builds an interesting and challenging programme to help achieve your goals. Each session is varied and challenging and Phil has a great sense of humour that helps make the sessions more enjoyable. I lost over 10kg and improved my flexibility significantly as well as help improve my balance and strength. Would definitely recommend Phil as a coach to support anyone in achieving their fitness goals!
I have done multiple varieties of training with Phil 1-1 whilst training for specific goals, small group training sessions and half marathon training. Every session is always well thought out, varied, fun and challenging. Phil has an encouraging and upbeat attitude towards movement and exercise which shows during his sessions. I highly recommend him as a personal trainer.
