Ben S is absolutely fantastic. Through Bike to Work scheme, I came into store and ordered a bike (relatively new cyclist). When it came in (delayed stock due to covid), it seemed huge. I fell off it getting off (according to stats, I was border on height but not inside leg). Advice was to cut the bike in various places. I left the shop (without bike) massively disappointed and was going to cancel the order. Few days later I spoke to Ben S (who came in like Superman!!!), we arranged for me to come in to review. He spent time with me reviewing size and gained my confidence. It then took a while for him to work through the internal procedures to get the smaller bike, but I had 100% confidence in everything he said. He certainly knows his stuff when it came to bikes. When the new bike came in, he set it all up and took it out to my car. I am now very pleased with my purchase. Thank you Ben S!
Bought a trail bike on the Evans website. Had a mishap. Took in bike. The workshop boys were amazing. Fixed all the issues and gave a full bike service off their own bat. Highly recommend these guys. Thank you so much and see you again.
Walked into the shop was walking around looking for improvements for my bike and making cycling more enjoyable for me with the possibility of upgrading to a better bike but was faced with 3 sales assistants that was more concerned with their mobile phones and devices than making a potential sale of an upgrade to my trek mamba well sorry evens most disappointed wont be going back
The shop is nicely arranged and staff are friendly & knowledgeable. However , Evans cycles as a corporate have failed to meet their commitment. After ordering a bike & accessories, and due all continuously delayed delivery , my order was partially delivered ( accessories only ) , the main element (Trek FX bike ) was cancelled and this took Evans cycles nearly 3 months to do so .Escalating to Fraser group did not help , talking to after-sales staff was pointless. Eventually, I had to engage my Cycle-to-work provider to act as a mediator and solve my problem, this is still an ongoing matter with no clear sign of resolution. There is a clear need to alleviate their customer service ways of handling .
