Some of these one star reviews are insane, so let me get that out of the way. Andy, the owner, is one of the most responsive, kind and helpful people I've ever encountered. Those claiming that customer service is in shambles are either exaggerating their wait times or are being downright dishonest. I'm a wargamer on a budget. I was looking at things like CnC and GHQ when I had H&R recommended to me. I love that I can pick as many of any item as I want, while their competitors are typically in packs of five. Who needs five command vehicles? The prices are fair, and even with shipping across the Atlantic still came out cheaper than the more local equivalents. The model quality varies, and I believe this is due to the catalogue getting updated over time. Some designs are very basic, while others have surprising amounts of detail. I have been pleased with everything, as these are play pieces first and COVID-quarantine time killing hobby work second. The packages arrive expertly packed, with items clearly labeled in baggies and well protected with bubblewrap and foam. I have not had a single broken tank barrel or other problem. The ONE instance of severe flashing I had was promptly fixed by Andy. Not only that, but he took time out of his day to pre-assemble said miniatures for me after I mentioned my difficulty with shaky hands. Who else would do that? The one honest critique I can give is that the website does lack pictures for some items, and a written explanation of the shipping costs would be useful for first-time buyers. An ideal situation would have pictures both bare metal (or primed) and painted so the buyer can see the detail. Obviously this takes time and effort, and H&R is a small team. Andy has won my favor and loyalty by consistently being responsive in our conversations (we once got derailed and ended up talking about the weather and ways to stay sane inside...), provided good quality items at a super competitive price point.

Never had any trouble with comms: emails and messages are replied to within hours and anybody with the slightest handle on social media ought to be aware when H&R have had to shut down for personal or operational reasons. New website is 'nearly' done but as a customer who dates back to the Seven Kings snail mail & postal order days before the internet was invented, I've never been disappointed with Andy's advice or turnaround, order arriving within a week. Eminently affordable and actually are 1:300th scale/6mm too.

Absolutely fabulous value for money people rave about GHQ forget it expensive. heroics an Ross have it bang on good quality ww2 6mm miniatures fantastic prices you can't knock them even with the way things are right now still fast delivery
Heroics and Ros always dispatch items promptly, well packed, the right items and the quality is good. The website could benefit from more photos (I added a few to the Facebook page to potentially help) but the company appears to have been hit hard by COVID just when homeworking is giving us more time. I hope things get back to normal soon for this excellent small company.
I have just re established contact with the company and places a large order with them (300) last month Jan Now 4 weeks later no goods and no answer to my calls
19/09/2020I have been trying to contact H&R for some time but their phone number is missing a digit. They are not responding to my Emails and now their entire catalogue shows every item as "out of stock" I have had a lot of items from them in the past they are good quality at very good prices but customer service is very poor will stick with scotia
My recent experience of H&R has been extremely positive (Aug 2019). I ordered some harbour cranes which are superb and arrived within a couple of weeks. I entered into some banter with the guys there and my impression has been really good - I'm very surprised to read the negative comments here, I can only surmise it may be a difficult time for H&R. I'm just really glad they took the line on from Skytrex. Any chance of an IJN Emily flying boat 1/600 chaps?
