An all round great experience. Staff where really busy but still had time to go over the menus for food and drinks. Atmosphere was amazing. Food was really tasty and fresh. The manager reminded us to use the track and trace which was really easy to do. A must go to place for a great evening out.

This place has a lot of character. Feels like an independent restaurant (though it is a chain). The menu has many options (in terms of flavours, and dietary requirements) at good prices. The waiters are friendly and helpful. Planning to come back for brunch tomorrow. Would recommend.

The food i ordered was really good, only the shrips had no real flavour. Everything else was fantastic. I recommend this restaurant to everyone as the atmosphere is just astounding.

Had a really nice night here. The service was warm and prompt with proper concern being given to social distancing. The cocktails were a mixed bag, my partner didn't like her margarita and my mojito wasn't sweetened at all. I also wasn't a fan that all of the coke based cocktails were made with coke zero. Probably could have asked for them to be made with the full fat stuff but I was ordering through the app which made that difficult. The follow up cocktails were nice though. The food all in all was really good. We had tapas and I enjoyed all of the dishes. Real stand outs for me were the jerk fried chicken and the pork belly. The quesadillas were a little moist and could have done with a little longer to toast them up so they could be picked up but they were tasty.

Very spacious restaurant, serving a wide selection of food. All superbly cooked and very tasty. Brilliant selection of cocktails and a really friendly and knowledgeable server, who provided recommendations from the menu.

Absolutely excellent food. We had 6 tapas portions to share and all were delicious. Great cocktails too. Great atmosphere. We hadn't reserved a table and they were fully booked but they squeezed us in. Highly recommended... If they ever want to commission an extra special Chez Guevara feature from a local artist, I'm seriously interested....

Good atmosphere, cheap and lovely food with a great selection of cocktails. Although I have been to most bars in Reading, I seemingly always walked past this! Do give this place a try as it's different to your standard bars/restaurants and very affordable.
