Completed the 8 week "World of Wine" course and loved each week. Phil's passion and enthusiasm are only matched by his knowledge of the subject and the wines. I wanted to make a start on learning more about wines and this course did just that. Each week covered a different region, with background, examples and themes. Each week also coupled several wines with cheese, and follow up email included his slides and recipes for pairing with particular wines. Additionally, over the course of the 8 weeks related topics on buying, storing, serving, etc were also covered. Will be looking to sign up for another one of his courses next year.

Went to Windsor to taste wines from France on Friday evening with my daughter. We weren't sure what to expect, we had the best time! Phil style of delivery is engaging and relaxed. Will be trying a range of different wines now, as a result of the course. Great night out, something different. Cheers Phil!
Had a great evening tasting wines from France back in December. My mum and I had never done anything like this before and wasn't sure what to expect. The wines, cheeses and saucisson were really, really nice! We learned a lot about where the wines came from but didn't feel bombarded, Phil made the evening thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining. Met some lovely people there too. Will definitely do it again.
We did a six wine and cheese pairing session. Outstandingly good combos. You will not be disappointed. Caters for all levels of wine knowledge from newbie to expert. Phil was very knowledgeable about both wine and cheese and had obviously honed the selections after years of work.
I have just completed the 8 weeks "world of wine" course. From a zero base Phil has really opened my eyes and mouth to the fascinating world of wine. So much so that I'm going to move onto the WSET 2 qualification. It was a great course as well as being educational, it was also fun and not too heavy. Phil is extremely knowledgeable but puts this over in a relaxed way leaving you free to make up your own mind about the wines that you taste, the sessions are structured, with plenty of wines to taste and some nice cheeses to go with them. Spot on - keep it up Phil.
Have just finished off this great 8 week course which was just the right mix of informal learning, plenty of tasting and lots of fun. Notes are provided each week, to help you remember the new wines you might never have tried before and where to find them. Some cheese tasting is also included every week too. I have enjoyed this course so much, I will be signing up for the 4 week Italian wine course. I'd thorough;y recommend this course to any one who enjoys wine and wants to learn more. The course is also flexible so you can also just enjoy the weekly sessions as a one off too.
Fun & Informative. Highly recommended and Phil's delivery is spot on - makes learning fun Much appreciated and I would recommend anyone whom likes drinking wine to do the WSET Level 2 course. Really makes you love the wine experience more and my geography has got a little better - so that's where Bordeaux is !!
I booked this is a team night out for about 25 people. Phill made the planning and booking easy. He clearly loves to share his knowledge and passion for wines and makes it fun in the process. He's very entertaining, we laughed a lot. Everyone had a great night!
