Great student accommodation

Short responce- try the uni, they always have spaces come available. Bathroom, desk space and bed are probably the only good things in comparison with what you can get else where. The bed is a good size (little smaller then a double) and isnt isnt laying on a rock. The ensuit feels clean compered to other places that can feel damp and old and the desk has plenty of room. However thats where it ends. Honestly that was enough to make me see past the crazy price for the first week. The rooms are extremely cold and the heaters never work, theres absolutely no storage for clothes. Even though the building feels fairly new the kitchen hobs are from WW2 and the sofa's in the communal kitchen are probably the most disgusting things ive ever seen. Considering how many students live here, there really isnt enough washing machines. That's if you decide to use them after you find out how expensive they are per wash. I saw a review on here complaining about the people in the office but i honestly think their all super sweet. With maintenance requests and postage all done though the app, its not really their fault and i doupt their in a position to bring in a better system. However at the end of the day my biggest pet peeve is probably that there isnt a plug socket in any of the places you should have plugsockets. By the bed? Nope. Under the desk? Nope. Half way up the wall by the window? Hell yea. And if your thinking about going union with the rest of the uni, you better pack your hiking boots and hope you can stay at someone elses for the night
Great place for university kids to rent accommodation while studying at Reading University. But be careful when you go to pick the kids as you will get a ticket if you park anywhere apart from the car park even if there are no yellow lines. The accommodation is very secure with a number of security levels before you can get to the rooms. This is ideal for the protection of your kids. There is a strong Wi-Fi for the students. There is enough room in the shared kitchen.
Awful experience. Expensive and slow maintenance action when fridge freezer was turned off by someone else in the halls so I was left without food for over a month
