Attended the mammogram and ultrasound clinic today and the staff were lovely. Being reassuring and kind means a lot when you're feeling anxious. Thank you.

An abundance of Incompetent staff who who have no idea of how to correctly use a central line, fail to use aseptic technique, miss prescribe medication, attempted to take the wrong patient to have a CT scan that was meant for someone else, ward toilets with human excrement on the walls and sink, failed to prescribe regular medication with food that would make the famous scene from Oliver the Twists work house dinner seem like a 5 star Michelin restaurant in comparison...... and that's just one visit! Apart from that..... It has an M&S so that's something I guess, so a brief shopping trip for a meal deal is ok but if you're ill........ I'd go somewhere else
As far as hospitals go this hospital is pretty good. Very big and spacious and my favorite addition is a hidden garden in the middle of the hospital. Nobody likes hospitals but this one tries to make your visit a nice visit. At entrance you have a lovely sitting area and cafe/food-shop. The nurses and doctors are very nice and communicative.
I would like to say every big Thank You to all the wonderful staff on Hazelwood(stroke)ward. They looked after me so well and were incredibly kind and patient. From my admission in ER to discharge every single member of staff, including porters and technicians were a credit to East Surrey Hospital.
