Yellow Jersey refused the claim for my husband's bike which was stolen from our residential gated development. The bike was parked in a secured, gated and private development with proper gold secured lock. Also the bike was checked within 12 hours duration. After following all the guidelines and without any mistake of ours, my partner was rejected the claim in few email conversations. We both bought our bikes and after reading good reviews and claim policy of yellow jersey, trusted and went for their Performance policy. Even I have my bike insured at yellow jersey but I am not planning to renew it now given this experience.

Following all the possible guidelines of parking my electric bike with gold lock in the shed in the society building with private and secure access. And checking on the bike every 12 hours. The claim was rejected. All the 5 star reviews are paid and there service is worse when it comes to claims. They will reject it in few email conversation, contradicting their own point. Poor service from Jonathan and yellow jersey. It it better not to insure bike, waste of money.

The representative I have been dealing with - JT - has been absolutely amazing. She helped me with every aspect of finding a new insurance broker, as the old broker does not offer the sort of bespoke product I need. She carried out her work professionally, patiently and diligently. If she ever wants a job as a bicycle mechanic, I would offer her one. The rest of the staff at Yellow Jersey were also efficient when I dealt with them.

Bike almost new - had bad crash and snapped steer stop and scraped paint on forks (Trek Madone Project One) and also chipped carbon. Only insured the bike 2 days earlier. Phoned Yellow Jersey and quickly put my mind at rest. The person on the other end of the line had first rate knowledge of what likely needs doing to sort my bike out and put me in contact with a fantastic bike repairer. Bike now back and in perfect condition. Yellow jersey are brilliant. Well worth the money. You don’t know how good an insurance company is until you need to use them. They are brilliant. Highly recommend.

My bike was stolen after a break-in and Yellow Jersey made a very stressful situation incredibly manageable. Kien was incredibly helpful throughout and after proving photos of the lock damage, proof or purchase of the bike and evidence of ownership, they were happy to either provide a replacement bike (they were willing to get a newer model of my bike) or settle the cost of the bike (the price at which they buy the replacement bike) in cash. Overall, the service was excellent and I would 100% recommend Yellow Jersey for peace of mind.
