Great fishing and lovely area just on the outskirts of Retford, been coming here for years but in the Last couple of months I've been using the tackle shop on site to try and support local businesses but I'm very disappointed with the customer service in fact discusted with it to say the least. I purchased a box attachment with had a faulty locking clip that had broke off, only used the item twice and owned for two months so I dug the receipt out and took it back upon entering the shop i explained what had happened and was told boss does not give refunds any more (boss no wear in site) not having the exact same product in store I asked for store credit and was point blacked refused at this point I was told to fill out a slip and would be contacted by the boss. Three weeks later no phone call so I rang boss said he nedds a rep to come and look at it and could be up to five months haha what a complete joke so I drove to the shop picking the item off up in question I Contacted Preston myself and within ten minutes, four emails the problem was solved and a new replacement item was posted out to me,thanks preston and as for customer service at hallcroft tackle shop is another matter. I'll not be making anymore purchases of items In there lost a lifetime customer. Just a little heads up to other members of the public that make purchases here that there's no customer care whatsoever.

Brilliant place! Haven't been fishing since i was a little boy but wanted to get myself and my family in to it and they did it brilliantly they didn't sell us over priced equipment and even went out there way to show me the basics to get us started. So until i see any reason otherwise this will be my place to go for anything fishing

Excellent fishing ponds the only downside is that the roads are not in very good condition and the cafe is not open all the time and I think the fishing tackle shop is little bit pricey

Every time i go to the tackle shop it just gets better..everything you need in there now for match fishing all top stuff.
