We have been coming here since 2009 and over 10 years have seen a degradation of service as it’s way to busy. Although I should mention the shop and grounds have been developed beautifully so there is now lovely outside seating aside from the greenhouses previously used. I give a 2 star review mainly due to poor Covid policy that perversely seats every one inside crowded greenhouses (which one might argue are wonderful incubator spaces) when there is over 20 well distanced external table available. I am sure there are logistical reasons for these but I expect they could be over come to provide a more sensible and logical use of the resources and space available to them, that maximises safety of customers. We did ask a member of staff if outside seating was available we were told no.

First time visit since lockdown! Such a beautiful place! One way system, and have to wear masks to go inside the shops. In the cafe, staff are wearing facial coverings, I actually feel safe to visit!

Ask for everything but the ice cream (expensive and not good at all). Fancy place. Cakes around 4 fresh and delicious, various cafes and teas. Worth a visit. Quite crowded but staff is very efficient. Self serve and sit anywhere is the policy.

A magical place takes you back in time. You can buy anything and nothing here. Overpriced but very interesting. More for the eyes. Worth a visit!

Great cafe within a unique setting. Food was good and there was an interesting menu, however loses one star for value for money. Prices of the dishes was not justified despite the lovely setting. Was very busy on a Saturday lunchtime.

A very unique place in London. Must-visit! Great fresh ground coffees and cakes are just another story. This place also has a shop if you’re fancy exotic or ordinary plans. Worthwhile to visit.
