My Elderly mother does her weekly fruit and Veg shopping in this place, unfortunately last time she went there to buy a few things, she was short changed by a young lass at the tills, a tenner to be precise also wasn't given a till receipt for her shopping when requested! Let me be clear, My mother doesn't speak English and is an old lady, so to anyone out there wanting to take advantage she might seem an easy target, she is old but she is definitely not stupid, senile or in need to blag a tenner from anyone. After complaining over the phone to the patronising dimwit running the shop, I was told she was not going to get a \Gift\, after requesting a till receipt he said he could do a hand written one! I can definitely smell a rat or rats. If anyone shops in this place specially the older folks, check your change before leaving. They do sell Good produce thou!

A good broad range of fruit and veg, usually at competitive prices. A lot of it is loose, rather than pre-packed, so you can buy just the amount you need. And Longs also seem to support local growers for some of their produce. But just because it's a small local shop doesn't necessarily mean they're the cheapest. And Sainsbury's is only 20 yards away if you want to do some price comparisons.
