Fun day out with good safe social distancing precautions. A nice way to spend an afternoon with good countryside views. Shame they still use coal to fuel the engine as diesel is so much better for carbon emissions and coal is really unnecessary in 2020. A carbon neutral solution and this would be a viable attraction in the future

Not much going on I'm afraid, though steam trains running every couple of hours. A tiny little station in the shadow of Bodium Castle, the history of the line and the station is lovingly recreated in picture form in one of the adjoining out buildings. A small shop is available for gifts with a well dressed volunteer on hand.

Lovely day out as usual. Love the steam trains and the smell of coal. Extremely friendly staff. Felt like I had known some of them for years.

Beautiful place well worth the visit. Scenic beauty set in a lovely surroundings and lots to see and do. Great picnic area and restaurant .with a snack bar and gift shop on site. A lovely pub opposite with great good and a nice seating area over looking river.

Got off here to walk the short walk to the castle. Small shop. Birds of prey display for half term week. Old prams on platform nice touch. Unknown soilder exhibition. All set in beautiful countryside

This is a lovely old railway station. Part of the Kent and East Sussex railway. For the time being its the end of the line.
