Been a member since it opened - Great place - Reasonable fees - Helpful Staff - Loads of parking - Plenty classes - Clean equipment Just one complaint... Gents showers needs a "NO SPITTING" sign. Rather sickening seeing globs of sputum floating past from the adjacent cubicle when you're trying to get clean !

This establishment seems to be incredibly poorly run. On numerous occasions now I have been to use the gym upstairs and have not seen a single member of staff in the gym for well over an hour (except when I pass the 'staff room' on the way past the entrance and notice people in there.) God forbid somebody has a cardiac arrest in the gym and staff are too busy catching up in the staff room and not interested in the job they're paid for. It's dangerous, the front desk is about 3 metres away from the staff room, it's hardly a big ask. Secondly, the pool is also incredibly poorly run and I feel minor adjustments could make it better for everybody concerned. There should be at least one lane out at all times (when physically possible) for the use of public swimmers only, and not just for swimming lessons. Some of us work at the specific times you have lanes for public swimmers. If you want to go to train, half the pool is taken up by swimming lessons and the other half with screaming kids. Both should of course be allowed to use the pool, but what about us who came to swim? Put a lane or two out so people can swim in an organised circuit, clockwise for example.
