Went to the restaurant for lunch. Great food. Very attentive staff. The menu has a good range of sandwiches and afternoon tea.

At first I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a great day out 2 for adult 6per child, got to speak to the owner James and got to understand about this place and that he's only bought the place back in November 2017 so it's small but plenty to do and has an adult go cart race, and I'm leading champion for the boys with 1.05.02 on the clock the ladies have a title of 1.20ish if he's their then you can ask to take part it's tiring and good fun. Their is a cafe little expensive but nice food don't do chips though but understandable as its not as popular or near as big as Wingham wildlife.

The tea room is lovely, good service and we had a delicious lunch outside in the sunshine. The play area could do with some updating. There's no signage of where to find the animals. The floor in the soft play looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. There's no point in having signs with all shoes off, if the floor that you're expecting people to walk on in socks is filthy. Toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned for days. Dead flies on window sills. Mucky sinks, ran out of paper towels. Website says that they know what families want... Clean toilets would be one of those... Also we could have quite easily walked in without paying at the play barn and out without paying at the tea room. There's nobody keeping an eye on the gate to see who has paid entry. It's very trustworthy of people.

Have been going here for years, but not since it changed hands. It has had some bad reviews so wanted to see for ourselves. We were three adults, two toddlers and one baby. We were greeted as we entered and shown to a table to accommodate us all. We were served quickly by a lovely waitress (maybe a bit too quickly as we were settling the children, but didn't matter). Everything arrived quickly and looked lovely, we all commented. We were asked halfway through if it was OK, and we assured them it was. We were too full up for desert, but they looked nice. A lovely young girl cleared our table and mentioned that it was her first day, and I assured her she was doing a great job! We paid and had a chat with the waitresses, and came away agreeing that it was a lovely experience. I don't know if things go a bit wrong at the weekend with more customers and maybe younger staff, but if the staff today gave them some tips they won't go wrong!! Keep up the good work!

Lots to do for the children. Staff very friendly and welcoming, animals kept beautifuly and the animals are friendly and good with kids. Food was nice although on the dear side. The indoor soft play area is well equipped and perfect if it begins to rain, my only criticism is that it was quite grubby in the soft play area. Other facilities were well kept and plenty of parking even when busy. Overall a good experience and I will definitely go again soon

Nice quiet play area. Awesome little train. Lovely staff. Vegan cake to die for - no menu options but space to have a picnic. Out door toys could be better - updating. Indoor play area needs scrubbing or burning! Food lodged in the cracks and joins - our son got ill after our visit - coincidence or germs... good value for money.

The Craft shop is a must, if you're visiting this area and so too is the tea room, just across the car park. Enjoy a visit and buy some lovely crafts, especially jewellery then stop for an afternoon tea, sandwich or ploughman's. Excellent service and quality at great prices.
