Absolutely awful food. We popped in for lunch yesterday as we were staying in the hotel over the road. My husband's beef burger had blood on the bottom of the bun, as though it had been accidentally transferred from raw meat (questionable hygiene practice, as raw and cooked meat should be two separate food prep areas in the kitchen). They returned it with a new bun and when he began eating it, the inside of the burger was still raw. Not slightly pink, still raw. My chicken was so dry I couldn't eat the edges, I only ate the middle because I was so hungry. The salad looked a bit rangy as well. Our little boy loves fish fingers and wouldn't touch the ones that came with his kid's meal. I cut them up and they were grey inside with dark flecks. So obviously not the best quality. The waiter, to his credit, was lovely and apologetic and we got a refund for the burger. But if I lived near here, I would avoid at all costs.

Great setting for a nice meal. Everything cooked fresh to order. Chips were proper and delicious. Well worth a visit.
Really enjoyed the sunday lunch and the desserts were amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be back.
(Believe it’s under recent new management) Stuck waiting for the AA van to arrive we found this place. Not much to look at from the outside but inside it’s bright, airy and modern. Service was friendly and fast, nothing too much trouble (they lent my wife a phone charger) and the food was excellent quality pub fare using good ingredients with decent portions. Piping hot too! The whole place was spotlessly clean. Would certainly visit again.
