Great food. But working 1 day a week is a massive letdown

We tried Rowditch Kitchen for lunch today and we were as a family more than impressed with both the food and the service. The chips are perfection the batter light the sausage meat was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of herbs to make it stand out from a everyday chip shop battered sausage but not overly seasoned to detract what a bartered sausage should be . The home made fish cake was the icing on the cake for me with its smoked and cod combo it was amazing and I didn’t order it for me . Everything was cooked to order and there was a 20 minute wait for the order to be complete but it’s worth every minute of the wait for food cooked to such perfection By David in Derby central

Definitely worth going here!! The chips, the fish, everything is tasty. The chef / owner is great and has certainly made a huge difference to the take away compared to previous proprietors. Everything is reasonably priced.

Absolutely THE best chipshop in Derby now! I have stopped going to the chip shop at the end of my street as it is abysmal! After seeking what options were further afield, I found this place and from the reviews, felt I would give it a try. I am extremely glad that I did, everything was cooked to order, remained hot and crispy after driving home, and the whole family agreed that it all tasted delicious! Thank you for great service, we will definitely be back!
