Our tour was sold to us by Deacon Brody who was fantastic, helpful, hilarious and so accommodating, even coming in early at 11 instead of 12:30 to sell us the tickets as he said he’d be there at that time the day before, so he graciously honoured that. He was excellent with us and so (unnecessarily) apologetic about having us wait a few minutes for confirmation about space on the tour; Deacon was excellent. Our tour was at 7:45pm on 14/10/2020 and was run by John the Witch Hunter, who was as brilliant as his colleague. Unbelievably informative and so captivating, to the point where I wanted it to last so much longer because I could’ve listened to him talk about the city and it’s quirks for hours. John was so interesting to listen to and it was clear that he knew exactly what he was talking about. He illustrated everything he said so clearly to ensure the tour would be memorable and it certainly will be as I will never forget the new information I obtained from Deacon and John. I would recommend the Ghost Tour to absolutely everyone I speak to and will be talking about it for years to come, without a doubt. Thank you so much!

A very wonderful tour of Edinburgh city.A very interesting and informative nice tour by night. A lot of interesting and scary spooky tales and stories about the city of Edinburgh and its past! Can't remember our tour guide's name, he showed us the hidden underground and also the graveyard! which I have attached the pictures for you to appreciate and enjoy. We sure will always remember this evening! There is actually one of the pictures that has a purple colour on it, kind of scary.
Agnes was a fantastic guide and incredibly informative. There’s a lot of things that you wouldn’t even think of. It’s always a bonus when I’m proved right to my husband (Scotland’s National animal!) I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in history. Thank you for a fabulous tour!
informative tour, Alex Cockburn the hangman was a fantastic tour guide! His acting background is clear! Lots of knowledge of the rich history of Edinburgh. Def recommend. And the pandemic is a perfect time for a ghost walk as the city is empty! more atmospheric!
Excellent experience and service from beginning to end. Deacon Brodie manning the ticket office started early for us, and was so informative and friendly throughout. John the Witch Hunter led our tour, and he was passionate in his presentation of local history and delivered both interesting and dramatic (true-ish!) stories. We saw parts of Greyfriars we wouldn’t have stopped at otherwise and the underground tour was a really fascinating insight into the history of Edinburgh city.
