Great little hidden gem. Half a mile miniature train ride with some really nice steamers. Normally an ice cream van there and everyone is very happy to talk to you about their passion. Both my young son and my (almost) elderly step dad were captivated by it all. Then there is a nice park to walk round with the dog too.

Visited the playground at Roxbourne Park first. This has equipment by Wicksteed. We then moved onto the miniature railway. You can walk there from the playground, but we got into the car and drove there, as it was a very hot day. They have a carpark and I believe are open in peak time on a Sunday. 2:30- 5pm. It's run by volunteers who are very friendly. My girls loved the playground and the railway.

Very nice for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Very well organized, though queues sometimes build up depending on the number of locomotives running. Coeur de Lion is a favourite when it's running.
