On the morning of the 9th of December 2020, I had to say goodbye to my best friend and my soul mate, Missy who was 37 years young, we had been together for 33 years I didn’t have to do anything, my vet (Rose Cottage & Whitley Brook did it all. I just couldn’t be there when she was collected at the farm, but farm friends ensured she was treated with dignity & respect. 1 week later, my vet notified us she was ready to be collected, she’s at home with us, in her beautiful engraved box, and will stay here until we make a decision as to where she will have her final resting place, hopefully in our future new property in The Yorkshire Dales. But thank you to Whitley Brook for making a devastating time a little easier. ️

Our much loved cat Angus was returned to us in a beautiful casket with an engraved plate on the top. First class service from an obviously caring company. Also the certificate which accompanied it gave us much comfort.

I can not thank Tracey, Gill and Denise for their care and compassion when my dear horse Indi passed. Their driver was at my stables at the time I requested he took great care to load Indi with dignity. I chose a private cremation and Indi was returned home in a beautiful wicker basket ready to be placed under my cherry tree in my garden. Thank you for making a difficult time so much easier.

We had an extremely warm, personal welcome by Gill on arrival. She was very professional and sympathetic at the loss of our beloved, shaded red, 11 year old Dachshund, Morris. My husband and I sat with Morris saying our final unhurried goodbyes to our loyal, best friend in the privacy of the Chapel room. Gill had laid Morris out beautifully. He looked just as though he had fallen asleep - so dignified. Graham came to collect Morris for his cremation. He had made a plaster cast of Morris's foot and did some ink paw prints for us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Whitley Brook. We and most importantly Morris were treated with great respect at all times.
