Ryde Arena is NOT closed. It is now a Community run rink (the only one in the country). Everyone is working hard to get it back to a respectable standard because Planet Ice left it in a deplorable state, never spent any money on it. Now backing and support is needed by all and definitely not to have information stating that it is closed being publicised. Visit the rink, you will receive a warm welcome from everyone, enjoy a meal, hot drink or even a cold beer. Come and see for ourselves what a lovely place it is.

Good facility. Bar cafe and toilets. Basic but decent food. Bit tired looking and needs a facelift. Watching ice hockey game here is a great night out
Ryde Arena is definitely NOT closed it has been taken over by a locally run trust who are trying to repair the damage Planet Ice did to both the building and it's local reputation and is very much open and trading. All of the ice hockey, figure skating etc is carrying on as normal, with a very loyal band of workers keeping it all going.
Ryde Arena is VERY much open!! run by a great set of community people (The only community run rink in the whole of the UK I beleive!?) Please Google. .....get your facts correct! !
Ryde ice rink is very much open. Planet ice have left and is now being run as a community ice rink. Staff are working very hard to rebuild it's reputation and make necessary building. Lovely friendly staff. repairs
