This centre is warm and welcoming, the staff very friendly and helpful. Once a month a Shamanic Drumming session is held and I attend, this event is very popular, excellent for letting go of the daily worries and concerns of life. Thank you to Angie and all her crew who put in so much time and effort.

Whilst there are some very lovely people in this place and I have had some amazing times there, I also feel that there are downsides which I have both experienced and observed. I feel that I have been subjected to quite a few struggles during my time and I feel that as a supposed Multi Faith centre it struggles to accommodate other peoples belief systems. There are also some people who are very quick to judge others and make comments on the state of their energies. For example during my time at the SSHAC, I have been informed that my energies are good but then that my energies are dark and that in order to move on with my life I need professional therapies to assist me, which I feel is untrue and it has disturbed me that a supposed multi faith centre may welcome such comments! I don’t feel that it is appropriate for certain members to make comments based on another person whether in a spiritual sense or not! Indeed to say things like they have 'attachments', that they have 'bad energies' is wrong when it is supposed to be a community based multi faith centre. Based on my experience I believe that there are too many Chiefs and that the leadership is not strong enough to deal with the issues that are within this place. I was a very active volunteer. I gave up a lot of my time to assist where possible but I felt that due to power struggles, I had to step down. I do believe that this place could be better if people were less judgemental and focused on the tasks in hand. Whilst there appears to be a variety of classes, I don’t feel that they truly cover a multi faith spectrum? They tend to be focused on the Angelic, Shamanic, Pagan with a tiny bit of Buddhism. I feel that a multi faith centre should be able to provide services for many other different belief systems but in unity of another. I believe that this is another struggle for this place.
