This is a great museum set in what was the home and Garden of Dame Barbara when she lived in St Ives, it's a wonderful tribute to the artist adorned with some stunning examples of her work. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful too. I heartily recommend a visit.

Fascinating visit to the gardens and museum. The garden in particular contains sculptural works and works in progress giving an insight into her lifestyle even including a bedroom in it. The museum lists the details of her life and events, which was also illuminating.

This lady was a talented sculptor of natural and mathematically inspired form. She would have loved the discovery of the Mandelbrot set revealed later with computers. Some joke that this set is 'the finger print of the creator'. We'll, Barbara, your work would have been further inspired today. Are there others around now who can carry the baton onwards?

I went in May before the summer crowd in Cornwall. It was great weather and still busy enough to feel like a holiday. This museum is small and intimate and absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend going to the museum as the sculptures are gorgeous without being over bearing. It's particularly stunning in spring and summer when all the plants are in bloom. It's slightly hidden away and high on a hill so you have ocean views. It feels like being in Greece when the sun is out, with all the white stone sculptures and island like plants.

Great place to visit and you can spend at least 2 hours over here. Full of sculptures and creation done by Barbara. This is a part of creative history of this place and you need to pay 7/- per head. However of under 19 people it is free of cost. They don't have clock rooms but the humble lady at reception gave us some place to keep few bags.

Beautiful quaint garden with numerous fascinating sculptures closely integrated for easy viewing. Excellent photographic opportunities from various angles (although I was told no flash is allowed). I would highly recommend this hidden gem in the town centre of St Ives. Parking can be tricky at the height of the season we parked at the rugby club and walked into the town. In my opinion, although this is smaller than some of the larger sculpture gardens, the sculptures are much more beautiful and intriguing and I would prefer to spend my time in this tranquil little oasis.

Great museum space showing Barbara Hepworth's sculptures in her studio and garden. You have to pre-book a timed entry through the Tate St Ives website and can get a combination ticket to visit both the museums

Amazing museum in the middle of St Ives, the garden in particular is breathtaking with views of the sea alongside beautiful sculptures. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff also.
