The staff were an absolute delight, some of the nicest service we've experienced. The food was another level, second time I've been here and it floored me this time around, perfection at every point. Also the Japanese dessert wine took me to another world, fantastic all round.

We ate breakfast here twice whilst in St Ives we had to book a table first though. Great location on the beach. Fabulous views of the sea and beach at Porthminster. Service attentive and food delicious. Really enjoyed the iced coffee.

Best meal I’ve had in st Ives. Beautiful setting, friendly staff and reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend checking this out. Go in the daylight if you want to enjoy the beautiful view.

Amazing fine dining. Not so much beach cafe anymore! Be sure to book ahead. A friend of mine has been coming to the Porthminster Beach Cafe for many years and has seen it evolve over the years from sandwiches and a picket fence to the fine dining establishment it is now. We visited at the start of July following the relaxing of lockdown laws. The staff were attentive and the covid measures were implemented to a tee - from our temperatures being taken on entry through to the spacious room around each table and increased cleaning regime. The food was absolutely delicious and without fault. Could t have asked for a better first post lockdown meal out, thanks team!!

Wow what an absolutely gorgeous and delicious restaurant. The front of house/host Peter was delightful. He was welcoming, happy and polite to every person he talked to. The food was fresh and to a very high quality. Make sure you book a table well in advance however, the terrace tables are available to book very early morning the same day.
