I've done this a few times over the years... Always fantastic whatever the weather ! A must if you love St Ives and ghost stories.

would highly recommend, good fun and enjoyable walk around the parts of st I'ves you wouldn't usually visit. The stories are well told and the locations make them even more real.
I have been on Shanty Baba's ghost walk before with my son about 12 years ago and the stories he told and the experience that we had that night have stuck with us since then. So when I revisited at Ives recently I jumped at the chance to take the tour again. Shanty did not disappoint! The whole experience was Evey bit as good as I remember! If you ever have the opportunity, I can't recommend highly enough!
Really good fun, a bit of history and a bit of theatre and we saw a different part of St Ives than we would usually. We would never have walked the side streets in the dark otherwise which was really interesting. Shanty is a great storyteller
After reading a review from 2010 and having participating in excellent tours in London & York I was hopeful that the tour would contain some stories with substantial scary content but was to be disappointed, only mildly so. Would have liked a bit stronger content as this was the late show.
So much fun! Really well told ghost stories including a nice amount of local history. The guide was really friendly too. Had seen the leaflets for years on holidays as a kid and finally went round to going a couple of years ago as an adult with my mum, and fully expect to drag her back next time we visit st ives!
We went on the story walk with all the family and it didn't disappoint. It has ended up being the biggest talking point of our holiday and is a worthwhile experience.
Highly recommend I went on this very interesting ghost tour of st ives in the rain with an umbrella keep up the good work Shanty...
